A Christmas Celebration at the Lake

Since Gramma's house doesn't have a fireplace to hang the stockings on, Gramma hung them from her bannister. She entertwined garland and hung the stockings. Erin noticed this right away since it was a new addition since she was there last time. Gramma also put a few things for Erin to find in her stocking. It didn't take her long...
Laura, Robyn's cousin, was in town from Chicago and helped Erin open a MoMo (AKA Elmo) necklace. Also in the stocking-her sparkle hair "bows". As you can see, Betsy required Erin's assistance to be pretty on this day.

This picture might become one of my favorites-that look!
Proud to say that Erin knows what poker chips and cards are. She loves to play with them and recognizes the silver case anywhere now. Chipee is normally the preferred player since the rest of us told her from the beginning that Chipee was the card player. Since he doesn't really want the chips to be lost, he cooperates. Erin does have her own set of cards so she can mark them however she would like!
Don't look at me-I'm just looking!
Gramma has quite a collection of snow globes and she normally puts them all around the house to enjoy them. This year she put them all together. Erin loved the breakable display of them all. She kept asking to pick up the little ones thinking that there were not as breakable. Pops threatened to put caution tape around them for when Erin came. On this day, Erin did not break one! We'll see about next year!

With so many people for Erin to entertain, I was able to sit and talk with an adult beverage. You can also see my Aunt Betty who always enjoys us all getting together with Laura in town.

So this is a random one-Pops at this bar. It was just too good not to include. He was an excellent bartender and throughly enjoyed using his Margarita machine to serve everyone.
