Erin has fallen in love with scarecrows! She notices them in people's yards as we are driving. On the way home one day, she asked me to buy her a scarecrow and can we go shopping. We were already in Monroe, but she asked so nicely that we went to Home Depot to see if they had any. They did not have a single fall decoration so we walked across the parking lot to the Dollar Tree. They mostly had Halloween decorations but we managed to find a flimsy cardboard one that worked for that day. The next day since Daddy was out of town, we went to Hobby Lobby and she picked out her friend. She has no desire to name it, when asked, she answers with that's my scarecrow.
