In an effort to get more vibrant colors, we opted to use food coloring for the eggs this year. It makes really pretty eggs but stains. We talked to Erin about being careful and she didn't want to wear any shirts so she wouldn't get anything dirty. Did I mention that I have a very prissy girly, girl sometimes?
Erin was very careful and loved using the tongs to put the eggs in and out of the colors.
Erin plays with her play food eggs all the time. They are her very favorite. She knows that they go in cakes, cookies and muffins and frequently asks to make those. She also LOVES to crack the egg. You can imagine what that turns out like. Gramma has been known to let her so she doesn't have to say no on that one, even if she doesn't want to admit it!
